Our Garden Education Team are delighted to bring you our “Wildlife Warriors” workshop, to suit all Primary ages and stages.
What is biodiversity and why is it crucial to the garden’s survival? Pupils will help survey and create habitats for our insect friends across the Kauffman Education Garden to learn what the ecosystem is and what wildlife we have living with us. They will discover how the health of the garden relies on many environmental factors and inhabitants.
Our school education workshops support the delivery of The Curriculum For Excellence, and many of our activities are based outdoors on our 2,000 acre estate, making use of our natural spaces to inspire learning. The King’s Foundation works in harmony with the natural world, and as such our workshops also touch upon the UN Sustainable Development goals and support learning for sustainability. Please see below for all workshop details.
Our workshops can accommodate a maximum of 30 pupils. For smaller groups, there is a 15-pupil minimum charge. If you require larger group bookings, please do not book using TicketSource, instead please contact us at dh.education@kings-foundation.org to discuss your requirements.
Costs
There is no charge for this workshop at point of booking, however schools will receive an invoice from our finance team soon after the booking is confirmed. If you bring additional pupils on the day, you will receive a further invoice to cover any additional material costs. We cannot offer refunds to schools bringing fewer pupils than stated at point of booking.
