Our education and training programmes at The King’s Foundation help people of all ages and backgrounds access learning opportunities to support you in the next stage of your education or career.

Public programmes
We run a wide range of short courses, lectures and workshops that are open to the public to book onto, regardless of whether you have a background in these areas of study.

Dumfries House
At our headquarters on the Dumfries House Estate in Ayrshire, Scotland, we run a diverse portfolio of education programmes covering many of our subject areas including textiles, hospitality, building crafts, STEM, food, farming and horticulture.
School of Traditional Arts
The King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in Shoreditch continues to pioneer education in the traditional arts of the world’s civilisations. Here, we offer master’s and PhD degrees as well as lectures, workshops and short, practical courses in traditional arts and crafts.
Highgrove Gardens
Our specialist workshops, located alongside Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, offer a range of education courses focused on furniture making and textiles with flagship courses at the Snowdon School of Furniture and the CHANEL Métier d’art Training Atelier.
Trinity Buoy Wharf
At its picturesque location on the bank of the River Thames, Trinity Buoy Wharf is where we teach our Diploma Year – a foundation course in fine and applied arts. This programme focuses on offering scholarships and assisted places to support students to take the next step in their artistic education.
