Building sustainable communities and transforming lives
The King’s Foundation works globally to create sustainable communities through our placemaking projects and transform lives through our practical education programmes.
Inspired by our Royal Founding President, King Charles III, our vision is a world where we live in harmony with nature to improve the wellbeing of people, places and the planet.
People
We provide over 15,000 students every year the chance to learn practical skills, rooted in nature and tradition, that help them play an active role in their communities.
From opportunities for secondary school pupils to post-doctoral academics, we enhance knowledge, wellbeing and confidence across our education offering – all inspired by the natural world.
Places
We bring our philosophy and practices to life at heritage sites across the United Kingdom, welcoming over 280,000 visitors a year.
Planet
We create communities with sustainability at their heart on an international scale.
We practice and teach the principles of nature that underpin food, horticulture, farming and wellbeing, showcasing this knowledge at our sustainable sites around the world. We champion climate awareness and sustainability, advocating for the philosophy of Harmony globally.
His Majesty King Charles III“For nearly every problem we face, Nature, with the benefit of billions of years of evolution, has already provided us with the solutions.”
