Statements regarding OSCR inquiry
Update October 2023 – conclusion of inquiry into the charity’s current and future governance arrangements
The Trustees have received an update from the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator concerning its inquiry into the governance of The Prince’s Foundation. In the letter the Regulator concludes that, while the inquiry into historic events continues, “we are satisfied with the improvements that have been made to address the areas of concern previously outlined.”
Update January 2025 – conclusion of inquiry into historical governance of the charity
The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has now concluded its investigation into historic practices at The King’s Foundation.

In response, The King’s Foundation issued the following statement:
The findings of this report into historic activity at the organisation have been noted by The King’s Foundation.
As the report acknowledges, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) is satisfied with the improvements made by The King’s Foundation in recent years, including the introduction of new and robust governance practices.
Following the conclusion of OSCR’s investigation we look forward to furthering the impact of our charitable work and achievements as we enter the new year.
