Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster become Ambassadors for The King’s Foundation

January 14, 2025

Music icon Sir Rod Stewart and TV presenter and Special Constable Lady Penny Stewart have been announced as Ambassadors for The King’s Foundation as we begin celebrations for our 35th anniversary year.

The announcement comes as Rod and Penny visit our charity headquarters, Dumfries House.

“We are so pleased to be coming on board as ambassadors for The King’s Foundation and look forward to lending our support to this worthwhile cause, particularly during such a significant year for the charity.”

Sir Rod and Lady Stewart are looking forward to continuing to learn about the work of the charity, having been inspired by meeting students, alumni and beneficiaries at the organisation’s annual Awards Ceremony at St James’s Palace in June 2024.

Rod and Penny attended our annual awards at St James’s Palace in 2024.

“As a volunteer Special Constable, the Foundation’s approach to building communities – and how access to green spaces can help build better, healthier places – is particularly important to me. It’s an honour to be working with the Foundation and I can’t wait to meet more of the inspiring people who both learn with and work for the organisation.”

During their visit, Lady Stewart will meet staff at the Health and Wellbeing Centre on the Dumfries House to hear about the range of perimenopause programmes and support groups available on site for the local community, given her role as Patron of Menopause Mandate.

“Sir Rod and Lady Penny have long been friends and supporters of The King’s Foundation, so it’s fantastic to cement that relationship with the news of their ambassadorship. We are so pleased they are officially joining us our mission to build sustainable communities and transform lives across the world.
