STEMovators are offering free teacher training on Dumfries House Estate. Learn to solder and build fantastic mini electronic kits. Discover tricks and tips for the classroom from our experienced leaders and take the first steps into teaching electronics.
Who is it for?
Primary school teachers or support staff, no electronics or soldering experience is necessary! 2 members of staff can attend per reserved ticket. Spaces are FREE.
What will I take home from the day?
Besides new knowledge and skills, you will take away a soldering iron and classroom electronics kit, allowing you to use your new equipment and skills as soon as you return to your schools.
Where and When? The training will take place in the STEM centre on Dumfries House Estate on Thursday the 17th of September from 4pm until 6pm.
What to bring? Just yourself. All equipment and instruction will be provided. If you have longer hair, we recommend a hair tie! Please avoid wearing loose clothing.
