The Fruits, Flowers and Farming Careers Fair is an exciting day long event designed to introduce secondary school pupils to the diverse career opportunities in the food production, farming, and sustainability sectors. Taking place at Dumfries House Estate on Thursday, 12th March 2026, the event will feature panel discussions, keynote speakers, and an exhibition marketplace where industry leaders, educators, and organisations will engage directly with students. Students will have the chance to explore career pathways in agriculture, horticulture, food systems, and sustainable farming practices, with interactive opportunities to learn from professionals about apprenticeships, training programs, and job opportunities. This event aims to inspire the next generation of young people to pursue rewarding careers in the agricultural and food industries.
