The Garrison Chapel
The King’s Foundation occupies the Grade II-listed Garrison Chapel in the former Chelsea Barracks to publicly exhibit elements of our work.
About The Garrison Chapel
At the heart of London’s Chelsea Barracks development, nestled just behind the creatively vibrant Pimlico Road, sits The Garrison Chapel; the last remaining building of the original 19th-century complex.
Our exhibitions at The Garrison Chapel have a particular emphasis on traditional arts and heritage craft skills, in addition to a number of special exhibitions and events.
Our events, classes and functions are widely accessible for all to encourage connectivity in the community – ensuring the Chapel continues to play a pivotal role in the neighbourhood and beyond.

New Wood: Building A Bio-Based Future
The New Wood exhibition invites visitors to explore beautifully designed, real-world products that demonstrate sustainable living is no longer a distant vision; it is already here. From fashion and forest-based cosmetics to home design, New Wood presents wood-based innovations that replace fossil-derived materials without compromise. Witness the capability of wood to transform the fashion, automotive, household and furniture industries, providing alternatives to fabrics, tyres and soda machines, amongst countless other products. A collaboration between the Finnish Forest Association, the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and The King’s Foundation, New Wood offers a glimpse into the circular, bio-based economy through elegant, tangible solutions you can see, touch and experience first-hand.
