Hospitality Careers Fair
We host an annual Hospitality Careers Fair for secondary school pupils across Scotland. This showcases and promotes the varied career options within the hospitality industry and highlights possible career pathways. Schools can book to attend one of two sessions for this event each year, with up to 300 pupils across nine local authorities joining us over the course of the day. On the day, pupils will have the opportunity to take part in:
- A Q & A with our keynote speakers. Past speakers include Raymond Blanc OBE and Tony Singh MBE
- Panel talks from industry experts
- Hands-on activities and demonstrations from industry experts and local businesses
- learning the various and varied career pathways into the industry

Open Days
Each year, we host a number of public open days across the Estate, including our Pierburg (Horticulture) Open Day and our STEM Open Day. At these events, our Hospitality Education team runs engaging activities for visitors, demonstrating how garden-grown produce can be used in cooking and how science plays a key role in the catering and hospitality industry.
